Thank you, Saanich-Gulf Islands!

I am honoured that local constituents have once again put their faith in me to continue as their representative in Ottawa. As you know, the Prime Minister has appointed me Minister of State for Sport. I am looking forward to this new challenge as Canada prepares to welcome the world at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010.  I remain committed to putting the needs of Saanich-Gulf Islands and of Canada first. I will continue to ensure your voice is heard as we build a stronger, safer, better Canada.
